Quite possibly blue - although there are so many new places to try since I was last out.

The thought of popping into an oasis like this in the centre of Pollensa after a mad day in the market sounds good to me. Bus there and back me thinks!

I will try the evening with two "20" somethings in tow in order to check out any musical contributions along with the "club but not quite a club" feel!

Its a lovely building and the setting is perfect but it has been hit n miss over last 2/3 years.Maybe new management are there now,I hope.
When it was Trencandora,3 yrs ago excellent, year after we had a poor visit, didnt go last year when name changed to babel, looked in often, didnt appeal and never risked it whencompetition elsewhere is always on the mark.Hope is ok for you fellow posters as the setting deserves to do well.
But with competion from 4 or 5 good square restaurants plus Centro,Temple,Clivia,Cantonet,Malo(of which Ihavent tried yet) plus a host good snacks,
drinks n nibbles etc they need to be on the ball.and you need to know where it is to find it!
Lets see!

will be interested to see what people make of this - lots of good restaurants/bars, but the live music vibe of this is the thing that appeals - please may we have some reviews before May ,when we will surely venture in....

Think you'll find that Babel is no longer trading and the place is now a pizzeria /trattoria- The garden is still as was and is a fantastic setting.I think the place has failed over the years due to not many people knowing it was there

Totally agree ray. Trencadora is probably the prettiest restauarant in Pollensa but most people would never find it or be aware it excists. Such a shame as it is only two minutes from the main square.

No longer trading Ray!? Well that was a pretty quick turn around, they hadn't even taken the Trencadora sign down! Oh well, we will go there anyway and see what is happening.

I've just done a google search but it's not throwing a lot up on the new name, apart from a contact email address. Anyone else had any better luck?
