Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I think you'd need to go to another resort to find a bar where you'd be worried about violence etc.

I've been watching footy in various bars in the Port for years and have always found the atmosphere to be very friendly and relaxed - no matter who is playing who.

As has been mentioned earlier, JK's has two big screens and three other smaller ones, so you can usually have a good view of at least one, no matter where you are sat or standing. Loads of people take their kids in and they just tend to make thier way to the front.

Would not want to watch football in a restaurant myself.

Jk's are doing match snacks for 4 euro's during games

Can Balache are doing meal & a pint for 6 euro's during games

Far better bets in my opinion

The only thing as far as I'm concerned re watching footie in Spanish bars is the stinking cigarette problem !! (especially if you have kids).

In fine weather I'd recommend Bonys all the time. He ALWAYS has the footie on at least 3 TV screens, he's a real character and if you fancy a bite to eat he will get the Dakota restaurant next door to bring food over !!!!
