Jaime opened the new O'Lume in December, it is in Joan XX111 in what was the El Pozo Chinese restaurant. There have already been several reviews in this section.

It was fantastic as always, the usual bread roll and butters and a Russian salad, we then shared a large duck salad starter, for mains hubby had lamb chops and i had veal in a port wine sauce both meals were delicious. We washed it down with a nice bottle of cava and finished with coffees and complimentary brandies. The bill was €56.
There were 5 other diners there, Jaime said that February had been quiet although he was still very upbeat, as always he was the perfect host.

Had another great meal here last night. We went with Kevin and Jane from JK's, they had never been before and were very impressed, in fact they said they will recommend it to others.
Jaime has now put furniture in the garden area and it will be lovely to sit out there on a warm evening. He is very proud of the restaurant and is looking forward to welcoming old and new customers to his new location.
Jaime has also brought back the MDD because a lot of people have asked for it, this was yesterdays :
Mixed Salad or Ricota ravioli on a creamy tomato sauce.
Grilled Rapante (sole family fish) or Veal "Pastora" ( Stew with Herbs).
Home made dessert.
Water
House wine
Coffee.
At €22 per person.

I have to admit I was very surprised to be so impressed by the food here!

We had turned up quite late with a couple of friends who also had not eaten here before - despite being expats. On arrival there appeared to be no one in, however Jamie set up a table for us around the corner where there were about another 8 people. Is this the smoking area and the front part is non smoking?
The different butters served with the bread and olives were a nice touch, and Jamie was extremely attentive. I know that some people can find this a little off putting, but we didn't really find it intrusive at all, probably because we were chatting so much anyway!

The veal, steaks and pork were done to perfection, even though we all wanted them cooked in different ways. The portions were very generous indeed - to the point that of our group asked for his to be wrapped up to take home as he could't finish it!

The garden area looks interesting for when the weather improves. I do feel that the interior is a little drab, but it has its own character and you have to accept that. This restaurant does not have the views that others do, and so has to make up for it in other ways. The food in our opion, does that extremely well.

One comment Jamie - I know we were the last to leave, but please wait until we get out of the door before the music gets switched off!!

I am sure we will return.
