I would imagine most if not all the restaurants will be open by Easter

Yes debz, I'm sure you are right, but was thinking of actualy over the easter break. I'm not sure if any actually close over the holidays and if we will need to hunt around with daughter and boyfriend to find somewhere. Especially if they have been stuck at the airport!!!

Bella,
In my experience, I have never known the restaurants to close over easter. Not in the port anyway. I remember one easter sunday many years ago, having breakfast in Maximes when me youngest was about 4 and the waitress dropped the whole tray of orange juice, most of which landed on my daughter. She was dripping from head to toe, with orange pulp in her hair, which is probably why she still refuses to drink orange juice with bits in.
Maximes offered us all free chocolate muffins as a way of apology!

It's a holiday resort and they're all trying to make money so doubt if any would close for the Easter holidays!!!

Hopefully you are right then. First time for us out at easter that I can remember after over 20years of visits! Just concerned that the religious aspect may make some of the restaurants close, but if you say its ok debs, then I'm sure it is! - On your head be it!!
