Default El Pozo

Hi there

Returning to PP this summer is the El Pozo cafe/bar
still open or has this been taken over by O Lume ?
Think there were 2 El Pozo`s in town one on a side
street and one on the main road opposite the smaller
Eroski supermarket. I a referring to the one on the main
road where we used to sit outside for early morning
coffeee and fresh orange juice. Will miss this if its gone.

Thanks

The Wizzard

Yes, still there, nothing changed. O'lume have taken over the old El Pozo restaurant(that goes back a bit) adjacent to it.

Hi all

Thanks for the feedback, nice to know its still there.
Mrs Wizzard has been most worried
Another one on our list to try this year is El Posito. We know exactly where it is and have walked past it loads of times but for some reason never called in. Have read lots of good posts on here. Is it open in the morning and at
lunch time ? we usually do tapas in Bar Neptune with a few cold beers (cant wait) but want to try a few other places this year. Do El Posito do tapas & snacks at lunch ?
May as well ask the question here, is Bar Neptune still there ?
Not been to PP for a couple of years and thats a couple of years too many.

Thanks for the info

The Wizzard

Wizzard - I had an excellent lunch of tapas at Bar Neptune last Saturday so yes it's still very much there!

El Posito are open from early in the morning until 16:30, they serve an MDD for €10 and a few tapas at lunchtime. When the season starts they will also be open evenings, i think the kitchen opens at 19:30. Great food and service.
