Default Mirch Massala.

We fancied something spicy to eat last night. So we wandered up to Mirch Massala, haven't been there for a while but i am pleased to report it was still as good as ever. We each had the MDD, 3 courses, papadoms with pickles and a drink for €13.95. The chicken tikka massala is still the best i have ever had anywhere.

Glad you had a good evening Sparky.

I know there have been some negative posts re this restaurant but we have had some lovely evenings here.

My friend returned recently and they also reported a great evening without costing an arm and leg.

Had a great well priced meal there in November however it was raining heavily and the water falling on the balcony above (appartment) was cascading onto the restaurant roof - luckily no leaks but VERY noisy.

Glad you enjoyed, Sparky! The other week i passed it every night and have yet to see anybody there! Fair do's for them opening in such a quiet bit of town at that time of year, they deserve the custom.

Used it for a carry-out last year and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Very small portions, average food and pricey.

Oh how the port could do with an Ashoka!!
