Based on 1 trip to PP so far and eating in 8 or so restaurants:

1. El Posito

2. Los Pescadores

3. La Fortalesa

Also went to Los Zarzarles, Brisa Marina, C'an Josep, C'an Ferrer. Never had a bad meal, but I reckon that's down to my nerdy (or so the Missus says) research on this forum. Loads more to visit and no doubt the top three will change.

Question

1. Trio
2. Tango
3. Ca'n Josep

In that order, Trio & Tango for consistency (you know the quality, ambience and price will always be good).

May change this year though as we intend to try O'Lume, Hell's Kitchen, Cellar La Parra, La Piazza and hopefully many others.

Perhaps we should also name and shame our worst 3 restaurants!

That may be a good idea WW! However if posters keep to most of the recommendations on this board i would like to think it would be difficult to find 3 poor restaurants.

Yes Smiddy, most poor restaurants would soon close anyway, and its easier to agree on what is regarded as making a good one, but its more conjecture what constitutes a bad restaurant, its more a personal thing, someone’s top three best would be someone’s top three worst, then we would all up arguing, then Zelda would close the thread, thats what usually happens doesn’t it.

Well so far out of 17 people there have been 26 different restaurants voted for, which is interesting, top three so far, Stay on 8, El Posito on 6 and C’an Josep and Tangos joint on 4 votes.

Are you allowed to vote Sparky, aren’t you employed by the first two?

In no particular order

Tribeca
La Piazza
Stay (not my choice but the rest of the family love it)

Does anyone know the name of the restauarant (locally owned) that is up the side street where the Tobacco shop is located? Food there is also excellent but can't remember the name!

If you mean the tabac shop on the front line, it is called Can Ferrer.

There are so many good restuarants to choose from in the Port but our's would be:

1. Ca'n Currassa which is not particularly cheap but great food and ambiance

2. Ca'n Ferra (Martin's) very cheap, good food and great atmosphere.

3= O'Lume superb food, very reasonable price and great mine host in Jamie.
(looking forward to trying the new restuarant next month which
I'm sure will have a much improved atmosphere so could move
up)

3= Hells Kitchen very good reasonably priced food and a fun place to be.
