There are lots of excellent restaurants in PP so it's very hard to whittle the list down to three!

From our last visit, ratings as follows:-
1) Celler la Parra
2) Little Italy
3) Los Faroles

(but will probably change my mind next time! )

OOHH! This is a turn up. All these years I have pronounced Stay as in the English stay here etc. and been told it is prounounced as STY as in pig sty. I have just read this on their website;

The name Stay was chosen by the partner Juan Cerdá, a short word, easy to pronounce and also very English with its links to hospitality and a word known in the marine environment as one of the wires holding the mast of a sailing boat.

Now somehow I dont think the word STY links to hospitality - .....!
Ding dong!

Someone (no names mentioned) has been pulling your leg!! It is Stay for the reasons given on the website but we always refer to it as Restaurante Sty as that is how the Spanish accent pronounces the word.

Of course there is also a very tenuous link with the name "Cerda", as "Cerdo" is Spanish for pork .

Absolutely nothing - you're right - I apologise for hijacking it to prove a point. We shall now all stop!

WEll if a restaurant is in the top list then perhaps it is important for us to recognise how to pronounce the name. So I personally don't think apologies are needed Bella. Nice to learn something too!
