Having seen a few mentions on here for the centric it's one of those places that i've never tried. Whats the general concensus of opinion on the food.

I think you may have missed the boat so to speak! From what I can gather, it seems Centric has closed, which is a real shame as we used the restaurant for our meal on late arrival out of season and couldnt ask for better. Chef appears to have moved on - although I cant quite make out what the name of the restaurant is as there seems to be a couple of names floating around at the moment, but I'm sure all will become clear soon!

Its definately Can Torrens...had read earlier posts about the restaurant opening and only found out when we arrived Saturday that it was our friends father that was opening it ..We were there Sunday afternoon and it was really busy (they opened Saturday)...have called in several times for a coffee and a drink and ate there last night too.

Thanks for clearing that up Cath, it would be good if they could put up a sign and a menu outside as i have already heard people say they didn't go in because they don't know what style of food they are serving. But others that have been in have said it was very good.
Sorry you didn't make it to the square on Saturday night, it would have been nice to meet you.

At the moment it seems all the family are working there !!..we went there last night for a meal and while chatting to Rosa she mentioned that they were still waiting for signs etc so they are aware. They have also put a board outside with the MDD and tapas
they have a varied menu from breakfasts and snacks, Tapas, pasta, meats, fish etc...this week they have also had a MDD for 12.50
Had the special menu on Sunday and can certainly recommend the Arroz Brut..I could have quite happily finished the tureen
Last night wanted something light to asked if i could have the Mussels marinara as a main course instead of a starter ( this was no problem) and i was not disappointed ..they were delicious
I was sorry i could not make it to the square too on Saturday (did have several stops at bar Cultural this week though !!).never mind will be back the end of April.
