Default Burgerking

Walked along the seafront today dodging the hail stone !!! shower and noticed that Burger King is closed, all notices removed and a notice saying nearest one Ca'n Picafort. Don't know if just for winter but windows white washed out, watch this space in the spring.

Goes to show it's open for the tourists not the locals!! There are other Burger Kings in Alcudia - I'd be surprised if they'd closed too but must have if Can Picafort now the closest.

Not necessarily Quelys, the locals did use it. I have seen several kids birthday parties being held there.

Oh no!! I think it is actually a shame, and Burger King was loved by the locals as well as the Tourists. I often go to PP out of season and have noticed how BurgerKing always has local families, teenagers etc and I must admit I have enjoyed a burger or two myself from there and thay have always been hot and fresh.

Think quite a few Burger Kings have shut in the UK too over the last couple of years - we lost our local branch here. I suspect they have been overtaken by the global power of the mighty golden arches... Have to say I'm not a fan, but KFC... now you're talking!
