arriving next week - Indian meal

I would just like to add my penny worth re. Indian restaurants/takeaways.

We have eaten at MM and Kashmir on recommendation from the forum, both were ok but I think in the UK we are used to a stronger tasting curry, even though the recipes for Madras, Jalfrezi, biriyani etc. should always be the same! We all seem to be searching for that elusive Indian restaurant that serves up a really good UK type curry!

Indian restaurants seem to come and go frequently in PP (not surprising as some that I have tried have been dreadful) but I'm sure if one were to open that could serve up the type & taste of curries that we all love they would survive and prosper. As much as I like the Majorcan cuisine I do miss the taste of a good curry whilst away.

I know I've posted a couple of moany items re PP recently, but looking at those photos reminds me of the reasons we've been going there all these years ( and may yet retrurn....)

mirch masasa is the best of a fairly poor bunch (if your preference is spicy hot food)mallorcans arent into Indian food in a big way many british cities have much better quality and value Indian restaurants but then this is a small island and it doesnt have the asian community to staff the places

So pleased you liked the pics. It's so easy to act on the negative things that we encounter in life and negativity always seems to outweigh the positive but you can never deny the beauty of PP and hopefully looking back at the pics goes some way to rekindling the positive.
