Sunday Lunch LA FONT DE GALL
Having just been to the market in Pollensa Town we decided to go for lunch. 9.95 Euros for 2 courses.
Basket home made bread, Cream of asparagus soup and home made pate’ with oat cakes
Slow roast belly of pork creamy mash with bacon and cabbage ( enormous portion )
Smoked stuffed salmon terrine with baby potatoes
First time at this restaurant and would go back.
Tuesday evening LA LLONGA
Booked and had a table overlooking marina lovely setting. Menu of Day 29 Euros. Includes Bread, Black olive tapinade, Mallorcan tomatoes & Wine.
Fresh Tuna with avocado & salad and again home made pate’ for Hubby
Fish Casserole&Fillet of Lamb with veg & potatoes
White & Dark Choc MousseCoffee, Hand made chocs and a drink on the house.
Love this restaurant service impeccable.
Thursday evening CA’N ANDREUSet Menu 18 EurosBread/ Butter/Ali Oli/Olives
Deep fried small green peppers ( didn’t like them ) Fish soup would feed 4 but was lovely.
Slow roast baby goat ( must have been some size of kid !! ) again enormous & Mallorcan fish pie with layers of potato in a tomato sauce. Couldn’t finish either of them!. The waiter did offer to make us something else as he thought we didn’t like them.
So if you like large portions this is the one for you.
Friday Evening THE STAY Menu of Day32 Euros. Inc Wine/Home made bread/Coffee/Hand made chocs/ after dinner drinks.
Marinated fresh Tuna & Hand made fresh ravioli stuffed with pumpkin in a coconut curry sauce.
Veal in horse radish sauce & Fillet of John Dory
Warm plum puff pastry tart toffee ice cream & sliced plums YUM!!
Love this restaurant great value for the quality of food & service you get.
Saturday SIMBAD for lunch as going home.
First time here. I remembered ,it was recommended on forum. We just had one course of mixed paella for two 10 euros each. It was delicious came with half a lobster. But were later charged an extra 10 Euros. We thought the lobster was standard and had not asked for it so the 10 euros was removed. GREAT HOLIDAY Back in the NEW YEAR.
