As you would expect can vary but in the 3 or 4 times we have been out in December it has been dry, cold (but not as cold as the UK) with the odd burst of sunshine. Nice to have temperatures in double figures rather than the single ones at home. The most noticable thing is how quiet the place is (particularly if you are used to July/August)..... during a walk from Llenaire to the centre last year we saw 4 people and 3 moving cars! It is a great place for a holiday either during the 'season' or out of it - it is just a different type of break. Enjoy it

This will be our third christmas since moving here permanently. The previous two have had bright sunshine on Christmas day ,with people having cava on the beach and children stripped off and swimming. I guess we have been lucky. Gers Trio don't usually do a special menu for christmas ,but do add turkey to their MDD and extra desserts. You just have to ask if you want turkey, unless of course they decide to do special MDD this year. Enjoy.

we were out in mid jan and again in mid feb last year

Days are lovelly ......... mainly dry and we were lucky because they were also mainly sunny ........ many days sent a few hours in T shirts in the afternoon

What really suprised me though was how COLD it was in the evenings

On a couple of evenings we wore fleeces; jackets scarf and gloves ........... it's not freezinf but it is probably colder than you think it will be

Fantastic to be there in the winter though ......

cheers for the weather info lollipop

what a lovely thought, a glass of cava on the beach in 20 odd degs and sunny, fingers crossed

i phoned an booked trio during the week and spoke to the scottish woman (forgot her name, is it joan?) and she said xmas day mdd with turkey, stuffing and pigs in blankets would be around 20 euro or so, very, very reasonable, i dont know of anywhere around here you could get xmas lunch for that price

we did consider stay a 32 euro per head but our kids are fussy eaters

thanks for all the replies
