Help me to recall the restaurant name

Hubbie and me are coming back to Puerto Pollena for a week in early October. We were last here in 2002 and went to a fantastic restaurant on the outskirts of PP. It was up a track off the road to Pollensa and was run by a british couple. The food was fabulous. Oh it also had a swimming pool too. Can anyone help me with the name and also please tell me if it is still there?
We can remember Tangos too, the food was always great, so looking forward to a visit this time. Does anyone know much about the Tamorells area?

Your restaurant sounds like Balaixa and sadly it is no longer there. The British couple, Arnie and Mandy, are now running Bistro Mar in Cala San Vicente. I can recommend it for good food and great service with lots of the old trappings of Balaixa.

Tango has now moved to the coast road, on the right hand side on the way to Alcudia. All that seems to have changed is the location and people on here are giving it the thumbs up in a big way.

Not sure where Tamorells is...if it is to do with accommodation, it may be worth posting it in the accommodation forum.

Is this near the beach bar? if so you need to look for Southern Sandy beach area if looking for accomodation. Nice area we stay in Pinaret area its about 10mins walk to main square.

The beach bar is called Tamarells and although I'm unaware of the area being called this I could be wrong. It is as sunny says in the south sandy beach area just a bit further down from Pinaret heading towards Llenaire.

As you said Debz, the beach bar is called Tamarells and there are some apartments across the road with the same name but the area is called Gommar or Gotmar.:)

Our apartment block is called Tamarells and is located in Pinaret just behind the Villa Concha. Not sure if this helps you?:confused:
