Default Recommendations?

So we're arriving on Saturday for the annual two weeks chilling out in PP, my wife and I + our two sons and "better halves", and the debate is beginning about where to eat.

My short list contains Brisa Marina, Es Posito, C'an Andreu, O'Lume, Zarzarles, Cellar La Parra, Stay and La Golita. As you can see we like locally owned, local food type restaurants.

We've only been to O'Lume once and were disappointed - but all you guys rave about it so I'm insisting on another try!

Is there anywhere else we should try?

Cheers.

We very much enjoyed Los Pescadores at the far end of the Pinewalk. Even better if you can get a table on the upstairs balcony overlooking the beach and sea. Great views, good food and friendly young staff.

Try also Bar Coral, and the shoulder of Lamb. Really good.
Situated towards the Pine Walk (sea on your right side), up a side road.
YUM :-)

La Llonja in front of the yacht club has lovely views and a really good set menu - welcoming to children also. We've also had some good lunchtime paellas at the yacht club itself (the outdoor cafe part, not the restaurant) - again, super views of the marina and a great atmosphere.

Tough isn't it? so many to choose from.

But I would include on my list La Fortelesa, Llenaire, Sparrow, and El Temple in Pollensa town.

There again I could name another half dozen no problem, not enough days in 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!

I thought that La Fortalesa had closed - have I missed something and it has reopened?

Bar Coral is, in our opinion, very good and the food is traditional Mallorcan. We've been visting it for quite a number of years and everyone seems to be well looked after and it has a good clientele including Mallorcans. We've a range between 6-10 years old, an aunty and grandparents and everyone has enjoyed it, although aunty wasn't too pleased when she was called "granny" last year, hopefuly it won't happen this year. But at that stage she did look like one. Only 8 days to go, hoorah.

Thanks so much everyone - some great ideas there which I've printed off and we will certainly try.

Will report back on our return.
