Default Restaurants South sandy beach area?

Hi - we're going to be staying in an apartment near Hotel Galeon. Can anyone recommend good restaurants (and bars with entertainment) in that sort of area please? Ones with veggie options would be particularly welcome.

Very many thanks!

Not sure about the veggie options but most restaurants seem to offer this. At that end of town there is the Llenaire restaurant right next door to the Galleon which is very nice and also Tango probably a 10 - 15 min. walk towards Alcudia.

There are several restaurants also on the way into the port including the Sparrow near the Pollenca Park hotel. Which was very good last year.

Its only a 20min walk along the beach to the port and you have a choice of all the restaurants.

Llenaire was great last year, as was bar Sparrow behind ( Panorama beach hotel). Depends what type of entertainment you are after you can go into Pollensa Park Hotel and watch shows, we liked Golden Lion across road good for meal or just drink Sergio is a must (so bad good)! English bar on same strip with singers most nights Elvis etc. Have a fantastic time

The english bar is called "Palms", as Sunny said the Golden Lion is good and Sergio is a must and El Ancla on the front beside the Hotel Romantic has good music on a Sunday afternoon.

The Galeon itself is really popular with locals, especially fish dishes. agree with Llenaire(there are two together and both are good and do MDDs) Plenty of entertainment in and around the Pollenca Park hotel, and the main town of Puerto Pollenca is an easy walk(cheap taxi back!)
