Default Ca'n Pescador - Tex Mex????

Whilst walking along the seafront onto the pinewalk yesterday I noticed that the smaller of the Tex Mex on the corner of the passeig Vora Mar has a new name. It is now Ca'n Pescador,Restaurant Bar. Don't know any more than that except they still have orange brollies!!

Wasn't it called C'an Pescador before it became Tex Mex. I saw them painting it the other day.

I think that was it's original name when it was a house - the Fisherman's Cottage.

The key thing will be whether the menu has changed. Do report back.

But please no general comments about the TM - we all know how everyone feels!

Ahh - sneaky . Trading under different colours to diffuse the tide of aggression perhaps.

Default Tex Mex

Makes no difference what it's called/who owns it, a lot of the gripes were about it's location, right at the start of the Pine Walk, it was sacrelidge.

Exclamation

Still appears to be owned by the Tex Mex just using a different guise, same food (pictures of Spag Bol etc.).

I noticed the established 1967 as well , intended taking a piccie and posting it for all to see ..... but forgot

Its funny actually, when I'm there I'm so chilled these things don;t wind me up so much as they do at home

And to be honest ......... the new Los Pescadores is a lot better aesthetically than the Tex Mex ......... yes it is clearly still under the sam,e ownership - you only have to look at the adverts for O'Hara's in the windows ......... but if you face the facts that it isn't a fishermans cottage any longer, and just get over it ....... the new place is not an eyesore ......... so I see it as a step in the right direction

So do I...And the food isn't anywhere near as bad as it was before (apparently).
