Default A very late 2008 report

For various reasons I didn't get round to posting this after my holidays.

I was sorting out my flight bag and came across some notes on restaurants we visited.

Some of these restaurants seem to get many reviews, so here are a couple who get very few.

One of the best meals we had was at the Sparrow, Pepe was back with new waiters and the food was given a thumbs up by the 4 of us. We had steaks/fish and a pasta i think, a couple of starters wine and beer for around 65 euros. This restaurant is definately worth a visit it has a very nice terrace at the back and the service was first class. I didn't enjoy it here the year before but this time it was back to it's best.

Llenaire Restaurant was also very good we ate here on a couple of occassions very reasonable prices friendly service we had Whitebait starters big portions, pork and cabbage, Frito Mallorcan and Paella wine coffees and a brandy for around 75 euros really good value.

At least being late with the report whets the appetite ready for the coming season.

When I make some more sense of my notes I'll post about a few more.

Hi Mark

Its at the end of the sandy beach next door to the Galleon Hotel which is the start of the Llenaire area. Does that make sense.

I beleive Llenaire was where Tolo started building his empire many moons ago!
