Default Balaixa Restaurant

Does anyone know if this Restaurant has closed down? I had seen good reports but one website suggested it closed with the owners moving to CSV?

It re-opened with different owners - can't recall the name of the place!

Arnie and Mandy from the old Balaixa run Bistro Mar in CSV - we had a lovely meal there in August and I would highly recommend it.

I can also recommend it, we had a lovely lunch there last August, unfortunately it was 40oC on the day we went and we sat and melted in the sun, but the food was beautiful and the staff we very friendly, we did promise we would go back in the evening for dinner.

We were also in PP from 26 July to 9 August. Soooooo hot! Hopefully it will be a bit cooler this year as we will be there the first two weeks of August. Is the Bistro Mar suitable for children. We have two ( 12 + 7 ). We usually have two or three special dinners in 2 weeks. Loved C'an Curassa. I dont mind driving + sticking to Agua con Gas. What is the price level of the Bistro. We paid EUR 120 in CC last year for dinner.

Our children were 12 and 8 last year and loved the food - my son chose the curry and it was quite hot, which he enjoyed!
