Can Cuarrasa

Returned from PP yesterday where we had many lovely meals but just had to comment on our meal at Can Cuarrasa.
Hadnt eaten here for 2 or 3 years but we were really impressed with the quality and standard of the menu del dia. A little more expensive than some of the others at 29 euro but in our opinion well worth it.
There were six of us in all and I cant remember what everyone had, but my warm duck salad with walnuts and balsamic dressing was delicious and my husbands lasagne starter, although a big portion, was the lightest hed ever tasted!
My main of mixed meat kebab with mushroom sauce was very tasty and beautifully presented and my husbands beef escalopes melted in the mouth. All mains came with perfectly cooked veg and tiny roast potatoes. Six very clean plates went back to the kitchen, despite my Mom saying she only wanted one course and nearly opting out of the menu del dia!
A dessert was then delivered to the table of mango sorbet, sliced exotic fruits and a slice of apple strudel on a vanilla cream, beautifully presented on clear glass plates.
The meal was completed with coffees, handmade chocolates and a generous liquor of our choice.
All this was served by very attentive waiters, one even offered to push our baby son in his pram whist we ate!
In all a very enjoyable evening that id reccommend to anyone wanting a special night out.

Thanks for a great report, gemmakate. It's great to know that Ca'n Cuarassa is as good as ever!:)

Went to C'an Cuarassa for the first time last August. Ate from the a la carte menu - cost EUR115. Two adults + two children (11 + 6 ). It was the best quality/presentation of a meal of the two weeks we were in Mallorca. A similar restaurant in the UK would be significantly more expensive even at the current exchange rates. Puddings were a work of art. Staff were attentive, but unobtrusive. I know Stay has its devotees, but in my book CC is right up there. Already planning the big 50 birthday celebration there this summer. Glad you enjoyed it too.!

Can you let me know where C'an Cuarassa is located?
Although we've been to PP many times I cannot recall where this restaurant is
Thanks

Ca'n Cuarassa is on the main coast road between PP and Alcudia, on the right hand side of the road if you are coming from PP.
