Default Mestral

Hello, we have visited PP every summer the last 12 years, except this summer (we where in Italy) but will of course be back next summer.
Mestral was our childrens favorite restaurant 4-5 years ago. The waiters (the long and the short one) where always smiling, the short one always singing. They recognized us (especially the children) every summer!
One summer they have left the restaurant, and Mestral never became the same again. The new waiters had not the same enthusiasm as the old ones.
Could this be the reason of why the Mestral has closed down?

A good friend of mine always loved the Mistral, liked to spend time there with his family. hadn't been to my apt for a couple of years but was over last week, dissapointed the Mistral was closed and astonished about the number of "meatpacker" (his words) restaurants now springing up. nice to know i'm not the only one.

I think it's a American term for burger bars!

The waiters in Mestrel all had a share in the ownership...probably the reason why they were so enthusiastic! I agree it was a great place. We spent many a long lazy lunch on the little beachside jetty with friends and family, with the waiters always ´making´us have one more beer!!!

I know the tall thin one became unwell and went back to the mainland. It never had the same atmosphere when the new staff took over.
