Question PePe`s restaurant

Can anyone tell me what has happend to pepe`s?
When we were out there in may we ate ther virtually everyday. When we were there this time(first week in september)we only ate there once!I had the sirloin stake ,wife had pepes special kebab, kids had burgers.and everything was raw inside!
When I told Pepe.he just shrugged and went and recooked the meat and brought it back..I must say he knocked 10 euro off the bill but,The service there seems to have gone down BIG STYLE!
Is there a new chef?

I know where you mean. Some of our party got ripped off there for drinks. Also, one used to go for breakfast and I think it was pretty appalling this year - don't know how you can mess up Eggs and Toast!

Hi
Yes we also were overcharged for drinks, no price list & a charge of €18 for a bottle of Freixenet carta nevada that was €7 in the supermarket next door.
Pepe might be a nice guy but his cava was more expensive than sitting in 1919 with a fabulous view of the bay with an ice bucket & matching wineglasses!
I only pay too much once.

Rosita101 - probably more fun to get a bottle of cava to go with the ice bucket and glasses!!

Default Pepe

Was most surprised to read the comments concerning Pepes. We visited on two occasions during July and as usual were very happy both with the food and service. This is our third year of visiting PP and this restaurant and Pepe has greeted us each time with "you have come back". Maybe he says this to everyone. We have never been overcharged.
