Default Our Week in PP - Part 1

Returned on Monday night from a hot and sunny week in PP. First time we have stayed in PP as we usually visit whilst renting in CSV, but with two teenagers in tow we opted for Pinaret area.
First night, bit cloudy so had a wander down into the square where we found a few places shut, wandered on and boys spoted Guru. Got a table next to the pavement and found it quite strange having people pass by so very close, I am glad no one tried to pinch from my plate. Bread and aioli brought to the table when we sat down. Nice atmosphere, I had salmon which the menu said came with leek and almond sauce, however it came with a cheesy sauce and walnuts. This was absolutely delicious and was served with rice, carrots and green beans. Boys and hubby had pizzas which they said were fab. Two rounds of drinks all round and the bill was 75 euros approx.
Second night, went to Trio as had seen the reviews and decided to go for MDD for about 18 euros each with IVA included. Starters were for me corn on the cob - yummy, boys had prawn cocktails and hubby a tuna salad, all was well presented, generous portions and really tasty. Main courses - I had beef medalions in pepper sauce with a jacket potatoe and veg, hubby had lamb, boys had half roast chicken and chicken in mushroom sauce which they enjoyed but wanted chips not jacket potatoes and we were not given a choice. Puddings were ice cream, apple pie and I had a lemon mousse which came with a bright green mint sauce, very strange! So this was a great meal in a nice atmosphere, would definately go back again in the future as fantastic value.
Third night - Cheers in Alcudia for the benefit of the boys as they need a games fix!
Part 2 to follow soon...
