Default Where we ate.

Well, weve just got back from a fantastic 10 days in PP, so thought i'd give a quick run down of where we ate.

1st night, it had to be Centric.
the kids love it there and they wanted to see Elvis lookalike (Carlos) again, only he doesnt look like him much now does he, cos he's had his hair chopped off! We all had pizzas and garlic bread, and me and the wife had a bottle of Rioja to wash it down.
Price for 4 - €85 with wine and soft drinks for the kids
Food 8/10
Service 10/10

2nd night, Tiberi.
We had never been here, but it looked so inviting, what with all the comfy couches and candles, that we decided to give it a go. We were glad we did cos it turned out to be brill!
Price - €87 with the same drinks as above. Food 9/10 Service 10/10
Prob the kids fav!

3rd night, Takeaway for Eolo
We decided to stay in tonight cos we stayed on the beach til about 7pm.So it was pizzas delivered. Wasnt impressed with them at all.
€45 for 4 pizzas and 2 garlic breads. Food 5/10

4th night, Dragons Orient, (chinese on the Formentor road)
We past here everynight sofar, and it just looked good (and i remeber Lala saying it was good) Duck rolls and veggi spring rolls to start, then 3 sweet and sours + a chicken curry for my lad.
€90 Food 7/10 Service 9/10

5th night, Neptuno.
Fantastic place just off the square. We ordered about 9 tapas betwen us all including garlic potatos, Veggi ratatuille, garlic Mushrooms, Fried potatoes and Chicken croquettes. the 2nd time we went there we had octopus, squid, prawns and meat kebabs! Great food and friendly service. my fav restaurant this year!
€55 with a bottle of wine, and soft drinks!!!! absolute bargain!
2nd time we went it was €85, cos there was 7 of us.
Food 10/10 Service 10/10

6th night, Tiberi again!

7th night, Cafe I'llac, next door to the Daina
Cant remember what we had here, but i do remeber it was ok, pity about the service. there was 1 waiter serving for most of the night, and he was telling people that the meals would be about half an hour! and he didnt smile at all, until i got him chatting later. i think all the other waiters had taked a sickie, so he wasnt amused.
€80, food 7/10 service 5/10

8th night, Neptuno for the 2nd time, (yep, it is really brill!)

9th night, El Mojito, in the square
Great place! we had the selection of tapas to start, then the suckling pig, and the wife had veggi paella, all very tastey
€120 for 7, Food 8.5/10, Service 9/10

Amongest the snacks during the day, we went to Aries (great breakfasts), Lulu's in Pollensa (great toasties), and the Pines (best saus butties in town!) just down the road from the Ora Playa.
And of course, there was Bonys!! which ,as ive said before on the forum, is just brilliant. If youve got a sense of humour, you must go there. if you havnt, dont.

Hey there Jigggggggggy - thanks for the great reviews. I've been intending to try Neptuno on several occasions and you've definitely persuaded me now. I love tapas so I'll check it out when I'm there in 3 weeks!!!

Jigggy, I am so glad you had a good holiday. Great review, Neptuno certainly impressed you by the sound of it. We always have tapas there at lunch time and the food and service are excellent, we have never had an evening meal there though, must do it in October.
