Unhappy El Molino

I have just noticed that El Molino in Pollensa is up for sale, apart from wishing I could buy it, I guess that means it may not open this year or may be under new management does anyone have any more info. It will be a great shame if it does close, lovely food and lovely people.

Default El Molino

I am amazed. Due to go their last week but it was closed but I suspected that the owner/chef was ill or had a family celebration. We know both the owners fairly well and had not heard anything about it closing - it was open just at weekends over winter and business was good according to them - especially Sundays. I shall find out urgently and post a reply. Chris is an excellent chef and it will be a shame if it closes.

A great loss if its true.
Had a few meals there last year which were most enjoyable.Food and service were excellent.
Not the perfect location,a bit out of the way.
Maybe if it was located near the square it might have done better. The Chinese next door always seemed busier.
