Yep, I totally agee...I have enjoyed these restaurants for the past few years.

Also a new one I discovered this year is Laroc - Fab pizza, homemade pasta and specials. The service is friendly, prices very reasonable and portions are just enough.

If you like homemade Tiramasu (just like mama used to make) and cheesecake...well then, you are in for a real treat

Have fun!

Couldn't agree with you more....I find Laroc a very pleasant experience, a relaxed and friendly place to go if you just want to chill out over a nice meal and bottle of wine (as opposed to somewhere too "posh"....o.k. now and again!!) and the gorgeous Argentinian waiter is so easy on the eye too!!! He has been there every year we have visited and he is ever so friendly. As well as what cafedelmargirl has mentioned they do a special ravioli every evening which I tried one night....spinach with pine nuts.... followed by coffee cheese cake....both delicious!! Very reasonably priced too!! Coral for their Lamb....I always get excited about but this year after paying the bill and receiving our complimentary liquor, they switched off the lights and left us in the complete dark.....and this was about 11.45pm!!! Very Odd, very unusual because before I could never fault it. Guru and Centric were two new places we tried this year.... fabulous places ....thumbs up to both!!
