Suttons do a lunch and evening menu

Lunch - amongst other things there are various sandwiches (the roast vegetable one is superb) around 5 euro's and homemade beefburgers (hubby and snowyowls husband said they were the best they had eaten) was about 7.50 plus you can add extra's such as cheese, bacon

evening menu - various starters ranging from about 5 -10 euro's..spicy chicken skewers, mussels, roast vegetables and goats cheese and a few others

main courses -about 6 to 8 choices which ranged from about 10-18 euros. Can recommend cod with pear and aioli served with stir fried veg, pork loin with a mushroom sauce again with roast/stirf fried veg & potatoes (I cannot fault either of those dishes).hubby had the loin of lamb with apple and mint (it is carved into small medallions and it was so tender) there is also a stir fry dish and a pasta dish which snowy owl had one night. The chicken dish Snowy referred to is a breast of chicken stuffed with prawns and served with a thai style curry sauce.I think the burger is alo on the evening menu but it is served with potato wedges.

Various desserts..I didnt try any but snowy had the panacotta one night and said it was wonderful

Not a huge menu but everything is prepared fresh to order.Marcus and Alex are so helpful and are always prepared to slightly change things for you.

Cant wait for October

I've walked past Suttons many times and always thought it to be just a bar.

The reports here always sound pretty good, so we must give it a try in September when we're next out in PP.

Is the restaurant on the ground floor or first floor?

It all depends on how large a party you are...there are tables in front but there is also an open air seating /dining area at the back.

There is also seating area upstairs ...we had drinks up there this year but ate upstairs in April..I suppose it depends on how busy they are

We ate there several lunchtimes in January. The food was really very good. Unfortunately they were not doing food in the evening then. I am really looking forward to going there to eat in 3 weeks time! Very reasonably priced too.
