Default Real Club Nautica

Hi,

We ate in Club Nautica and really enjoyed it.

I put a review of it and what we ate on here. Think it's in day 1 to 5.

Hope that helps.

Found it. Thanks Star. Will try to give it a go next month. I have often looked at it but did not know anyone who had tried it.

I had lunch there last year and really enjoyed it. Nothing fancy I think it was home made quiche and salad and hubby had a salad but ther setting was nice and the wine prices were not that expensive considering where it is. Not had dinner there but did say we would give it a go however La Lonja won out this year. Funny thing was that people we spoke to at the hotel thought it was a private club but that is not the case .

The pool area looks inviting but I imagine that is for people off the boats or should that be yatchts ?

Cheers

The pool looks lovely but i've never seen anyone using it. Only had drinks there, that was when the twins who now own L'Olivera were working there.

Marilyn,

They do but that is why you have to be a member, megabucks to join so you are better off just going to lunch there . Great value for snacks lunchtime ( prices on a par with frontline restaurants) but you may need to remortgage for dinner !!!!

we had lunch there last year for the very first time, we had never ventured there before as we thought it was private members only

we had been a walk along in the morning with the girls and were looking at the menu outside when a waiter came out and asked us in as they were open for coffee, thats when we were told it was not members only

we went back the next day for lunch and all had sardines and i can honestly say they were the best we've ever had and not too expensive either

our daughters used the pool as the good lady and i relaxed on the patio with a jug of sangria after lunch and nobody said it was private but it maybe that it was a particulary quiet day and the pool was not in use by anyone else

the evening meal prices do look very, very pricey though and tbh just not worth it imo

I have only had lunch at the club nautic but it was really good. As to expensive it will no doubt be on a par with Stay or La Lonja .At lunchtime it was really reasonable which to be honest was a bit of a surprise. Perhaps someone who is ther at the moment ar is going soon could have a wee look at the prices and satisfy our couriosity ?

Cheers

They have a page with us here http://www.puertopollensa.com/rcnpp/ but haven't updated their prices for quite a while but it gives you an idea.

Default Twins who used to work in the Yacht Club restaurant

We've had lots of really good meals over the years in the Yacht Club restaurant.
The waiters working there have always been very good - friendly & professional and the food excellent.
Does anyone happen to know where the lovely waiters who are twins (who used to work in the Yacht Club Restaurant) are now? I see that Sparky mentioned them as owning or working at L'Olivera - does anyone know where that is please?

Hi Lorenzo, yes Danny and Tony now own L'Olivera, one of their wives does the cooking and Steve the cheeky Scot, who looks more spanish than a Spaniard, is a waiter. It is next door to Simbads on the front. By the way the food and service are fantastic. Sparky

Smile L'Olivera twins

Thanks for that Sparky! I think I know where you mean - hope to give their place a try when I go out at the end of this month for a few days. They were such nice guys!
