Default Comments on Top Five Restaurants

I agree with everyone! I'm like that. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal or a bad experience in a restaurant in PP in all the years I've been going there.
I've had the 'not as good as I thought' expereince but nothing that would put me off going back again. Well, you've got to try as many as possible, haven't you?
I notice O'Lume seems to be very high on people's lists, not just on this thread but on others as well. I looked in there once and it didn't look that good to me, but I didn't go inside. Is it worth a visit?

Hi Pollpott,Re-O'Lume, please don't be put off by appearances. While i admit there is no outlook ( as with places on the frontline) the food and service are superb and the prices are very good too. I really don't think you will be disappointed.

OK, that's good enough for me. We'll try it this year.

Unfortunately I have had some bad meals but I did not know if it was acceptable to name them on this forum .Some of them have since closed and some still open. Basically we just don't go back .

I see someone mentioning the Ivy restaurant ,now the food here was good but the attitude of the staff or the owners who ran the place was not nice. Only interested in the ex pats all air kisses darlin this and darlin that you know the stuff. We did go back for one more try but it was the same . So that one is off the list .

Hi Scotty Lady, we are interested in all experiences, good and bad. We need a balanced view when deciding to go somewhere different

I agree with Sparky. I think it is equally important to report back when the experience hasn't been good. Our pounds will not go as far this year given the exchange rate it is important to spend them where the best value for money is!

The golf course, its actually called "el gallo rojo" (the red cockrell), the symbol of Pollensa.
The lunch menu isnt expensive but the views are breathtaking.

Is this the Golf club on the right before you get to Pollensa if you're coming from Palma? Also, do you have to be a member of the club or actually playing golf there to eat at the restaurant?
