Default Eating out days 6 - 10

Ok here we go again ! Just realised how long my first post was !!

Day 6: Tiberi

We had not gone to Tiberi last year as had not been too impressed previously but decided to give it another go.

Starters: Breaded Prawns and Nachos

Mains: Steak with pepper sauce & Burger

No alcoholic drinks tonight.

Total Price about 67 euros.

To be honest, we will not be going back. Thought is was expensive for what we had and not that great. The burger was pretty charred and not very tasty. The worst meal we had in the 10 days.

Day 7: C’an Costa (Old Town)

Again another place on our must do list and once again it did not disappoint!

Appetizer: Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Blinis, Bread served with pear olive oil.

Starters: Salt & Pepper Prawns, Asparagus & Parmeasn Tartlet
Mains: Ostrich Steak, Lamb

Desserts: Panna Cotta with balsamic roasted strawberries.(one between two as we were so full!)

Have to say this restaurant never disappoints! The dessert was one of the best I have ever had. Definitely stays on the ‘must go’ list!

Day 8: Another couple joining us arrived later at night so back to….you guessed it Restaurant Llenaire - It’s so handy for us! Again, enjoyed by all.

Day 9: Clivia (Old Town)

Drinks on arrival ( 3 g&t’s)

Starters: Stuffed Peppers, Asparagus in vinaigrette, Soup of the day, Calamari

Mains: Veal in cream sauce, Fillet of beef, Sea Bass in white wine sauce (serves 2)

Dessert: Crème Catalan (only 1 had dessert)

Bottle of red wine, glass of white wine and sparkling water

Lovely meal enjoyed by all. Apparently the fillet of beef is the best here!

Total cost about 180 euros.

Day 10: Had a late lunch today at La Llonja so decided on a quick bite to eat. Just popped to Nicos. What made it better for the boys was that the US golf open final was on !

So had a great time and great food in those 10 days, just a shame we didn’t have a few more days to visit our other favourite places !

Great to read your reviews, star!

It's brilliant to know that Ca'n Costa is still maintaining its high standards - I had the salt and pepper prawns last year and they were delicious.

6 weeks today!!
