Our Eating Out Days 1 to 5

Well that’s us back after 10 days away and thought we would give you a run down on where we went and what we had: Have put in the prices where we can remember them.

Day 1: Restaurant Llenaire

Arrived later at night so popped down to the end of the road.

We are not great seafood fans but fancied a paella so Davide offered to get a chicken and pork paella specially made for us and what can I say it was delicious! I had fresh pineapple and ice cream for dessert we had a couple of glasses of wine, sparkling water and coffees. They have new kitchen staff this year and the food is definitely much better than previously. Would recommend it.

Total price about 45 euros.

Day 2: Nautica Club

A couple of years since we have been here.

As an appetizer we were given prawn in a vegetable spring roll accompanied with a chilli dipping sauce which was lovely
I had the set menu. To start had country vegetable soup, followed by pork in a cream sauce and then fresh pineapple (it tasted so good on the first evening I couldn’t resist having it again!)
Mum had prawns in garlic to start then a cod dish as a main followed by tiramisu. Again, for drinks sparkling water, a couple of glasses of rose wine and coffees to finish. Will definitely go back again.

Total price about 80 euros.

Day 3: Restaurant Llenaire

My husband arrived today but later at night so again just popped to the end of the road. Starters of gazpacho, chicken croquettes
Main courses were: Grilled chicken breast, pork fillet with peppercorn sauce and chicken breat in peppercorn sauce.

Day 4: C’an Pacienci

Drinks on arrival 3 x G&T

Starters: 2 x tomato soup and scampi tails

Main Courses: Fillet of beef 1900 ( fillet of beef topped with foie gras and truffle sauce) and 2 x thai beef dish

Desserts: sponge pudding, strawberries and cream

Then: Cheese Board with a bottle of port

Had a bottle of rose wine, coffees and a further round of drinks.

Had a great night here as usual, we can’t visit PP without going here !

Total Price about 170 euros.

Day 5: Nicos

Back to only 2 people now !

Starters: Chicken bits, Chicken wings

Mains: Baby solitary burger and Philadelphia Phillis

Desserts: Chocolate Brownie & Carrot Cake

Only non alcoholic drinls tonight.

As usual a good standard of food perfect after the richness of the night before !

Total Price about 50 euros.

Will do days 6 - 10 in another post !!

Thanks for that. I really enjoyed reading your review as I have never eaten in any of these restaurants.I especially like the sound of C`an Pacienci ,as am a big cheese fan and love a good glass of port .. not sure I could drink a bottle though , but maybe with a little help. I think I will give it a try on our next visit.
We have a 6 year old who is fairly adventurous and will eat almost anything , do you think he would be made welcome by the clientelle ?
regards TT

C'an Pacienci

Hi,

I think if you have a 6 year old who is used to going to restaurants it would be no problem to take him there.

Only last year they changed the menu from a set price per head menu to an a la carte style and I think this was definitely to appeal to a wider market as a child would never eat 45 euros worth of food !

I would highly recommend trying it - and don't worry about the port its normally a glass you get, there were 3 of us so that's why were got the little bottle !!

Enjoy.
