Thumbs up Our First Visit To El Posito

Hubby and I went to El Posito last wednesday evening, we had :bread and olives,to start stuffed peppers, for mains i had fresh John Dory, hubby had Grilled Baby Squid served with fresh veggies, not huge portions but that suits us as we don't like too much on our plates. A bottle of Macia Batle Blanco (delicious )water and coffees. A brandy for hubby,Hierbas mixtas para me(on the house). All for 56euros, the service was excellent, we will go again next time.

Sparky,

Did you notice if they had much choice other than fish? Last year my other half didn't fancy the menu - he doesn't eat fish.

Thanks, Lala

Hi Lala, yes they did serve meat as well, hubby wanted the Rabbit and Lobster unfortunately this had to be pre-ordered so he will have to wait until next time. I did think it a bit strange that everything on the specials board had to pre-ordered but at least we now know. I don't usually have fish in restaurants because i fear bones but as the John Dory was filleted i had it. The only place i will eat fish out is at The Golden Lion because they don't have a problem with me eating with my fingers (so i can feel any bones),in fact that's how they eat it.

Sparky - that's exactly why better half doesn't do fish - will suggest he tries your method. Lala
