Default Bon Cepa

Did I imagine it or did I hear that Bon Cepa was closing

I hope not , I only tried the place last November, having walked past many times

It was fantastic and certainly was on my list for when I rvisited in Feb and april - but not to be as it was closed . I hd just assumed the owners were away for the close season.

anyone any concrete info ?

My Mum told ne about this a couple of days ago. I can't believe that Bona Cepa has closed for good!!

This is so sad - it was was one of my favourite places both for lunch and dinner. The back area was such a lovely place too and always seemed full of local people rather than tourists.

Does anyone know if the owners have set up anywhere else. I can't remember what the owner/chef is called but his wife is Lally and their son Jaime used to work in the restaurant - he had left last year though.

What a shame...yet another fantastic restaurant makes way for yet more apartments.
The local council want bringing to task now - can't they see how this sort of thing just destroyed other resorts on the Island.

Sorry, I have gone off track but I am really gutted about this.

(If this sounds familiar - have copied from my original post on Spring 2008 as it is more relevant here)

CD,

You hit the nail on the head here, cos it is the concrete.

Apparently the current structure can't take development above so down it is all coming. Believe the current owners are'nt coming back after.

Another landmark gone.
