Default Bar Pepe - Best Value in Puerto

Those of you who have never visited Bar Pepe you are missing out! His Menu del Dia is arguably the best value for money in the Port. 3 courses (with choices)including wine & water for just €7.50 per head! Great food & very large portions. A family of 4 could eat something different there every day and it would only cost them €30.00 daily!

We are regulars of Pepe (our apt is just above) so always manage to eat there at least twice on our visits. He did us proud on Monday just before we left. Home made vegetable soup (served in a dish big enough to swim in) followed by a whole chicken breast 'a la plancha' with a tasty creamy pepper sauce. The Sweet was home made flan (non of your shop stuff) with fresh cream. Absolutely delicious & we left feeling well set up for our journey home.

For those of you who can't live without your 'full English' Pepe's is the place to go. At only €5.50 including tea/coffee (the biggest pot of tea you've ever seen) Pepe's can't be beaten.

Can't wait until June!

(In case you don't know Pepe's is directly opposite the Flora Apts)

The Flora Apts are in calle MENDEZ NUNEZ across from where they are building the new Taylor Woodrow apts and opposite the British Food Shop & Salvation Army shop.

Thumbs up

Agree with Gina 100% the food in Pepe's is great value.

We eat there about once a week and the choice of meats, fish etc, is very good.

Plus Pepe himself is always cheerful even when he and his wife ( she does the cooking ) are busy !

Hi CD,

How are you. I think that is Simbads you are thinking of.

Simbads has a minah bird and Pepe's has a parrot so you are both correct.
