Gary,

if you look at www.puertopollensa.com/restaurants_bars_cafes.html, you will find that many of the restaurants who advertise with us, have a map on their Full Page along with sample menu etc.

In the future we may well be able to provide an overview map with these restaurants marked.

I'm not aware of anywhere that has a map of all restaurants in the area.

thank you pollensa for your kind reply. i know of the maps on the restaurant thread but unfortunately the restaurants i am looking for dont advertise on it. but i look forward to any furture maps compiled which indicate restaurant whereabouts. the PP maps which indicate the location all of the hotels is excellent, perhaps something along the lines of that would be fantastic.

Which restaurants were you interested in? Perhaps members with a good knowledge of where they are can help you?

Ok, that's two down!

Directions to O Lume can be found here:

O Lume

Bonyslad did a great review of L'Oliveras last year and I asked for directions as it's somewhere I'd like to eat.

Review and directions here

For Siller, from a member called recharge back in 2006:

"Take the Pollensa road out of the port, turn right at the road named Roger de Lluria (Barnard Hamilton estate Agents is on the corner) and the restaurant is situated just down the road on the right hand side."

Here's a thread about Manduca with directions:

Manduca.

One thing I forgot to say is that when you're on holiday you should get a copy of "Holiday in Puerto Pollensa" which has useful articles about the resort and surrounding area plus loads of adverts and maps of restaurants. It's widely available - I think I found my copy in a money exchange office/booking office and it's invaluable!

Gary,

Just to complete your list.

Fortelesa is in the Formentor Rd. Just walk down past Hibiscus, past Banca March and you will come to it.

Posito. Walk up from the square, keep left of the church, left into Roger De Flor ( Halifax opposite ) and then first right and it's on your right.

and note for Siller that Barnard Hamilton has now moved to the Pine Walk but follow the directions bit turn right in front of Sol ( the estate agents).

You'll enjoy them all.

Default Locations of Restaurants in the Port

Get hold of the publication "Holiday in Puerto Pollensa"

Its updated every year and produced by Talk of The North's Ann Macdonald.

It has maps showing the locations of the advertisers, very useful. It also has all sorts of other useful information to get the best out of your stay.

No I'm not on commision as its free and issued April ish.

No Gary... but it's ok - they only weigh your cases at Palma - not you... (yet!)
