Default New Italian Restaurant - Il Tano

I’m not sure I’ve seen it mentioned elsewhere but a new Italian restaurant (part of the Il Tano chain which has several restaurants on the island) has opened in the square on the site of the old Casa Vila and La Piazza before that.

Great to see the space filled and hoping it will be a good replacement for Casa Vila… hard act to follow though!

Default Not for Me

Went along last night as we like to support new venues.
Will not return. Not sure what we can say on restaurant reviews, suffice to report this is a chain, check the menu before booking etc.
There are many very good options in the Port.

Any specific issues with the food or service as your post leaves it to the imagination?!

I did mention it’s a chain in my original post but it’s a Mallorcan family chain expanding across the island and, in that respect, not too different to the expansion of Casa Vila (to Alcudia) and the growth of Vilacuisines more generally nor Grupo Boulevard that already have a vast presence across the Port.
