Question Current Covid policies in shops, bars, restaurants?

I've combed the forum for up to date and comprehensive information but to no avail - so sorry if I've missed it or if I'm posting in the wrong place!

I'm coming to Pollenca on the 28th, and I've read all sorts in the British press so I want to get a clear picture of how things are in Mallorca and how it's likely to affect my holiday, so here goes -

I've read that masks are no longer obligatory - is that everywhere? In shops, restaurants, bars, public transport? In the street? On the beach?
I've also read that shops have to close at 5pm every day - is that correct? All shops including supermarkets?
I've read that bars and restaurants have an 11pm curfew - correct? Everywhere? All of them?
Is there still social distancing in bars & restaurants, with reduced numbers of tables? Inside and outside?
Is the Wine Fair at Pollenca still going ahead on 7th/8th May? In the cloister or in the car park like last time? Will numbers be limited? Is it necessary to book or just roll up like pre-Covid?

Anything else I need to know that might be different from the last time I visited pre-Covid (April 2019!)

Thanks for your help and tolerance!

It's pretty much back to normal here now

Shops do not close at 5pm and there are no curfews in bars or restaurants and no reduced capacity/table distancing either.

It is no longer mandatory to wear a mask. This has been the case outdoors for a while now but policy for indoor use changed this week.

What we are doing though is still taking masks with us and if we go in a shop for example, and the staff are wearing masks then we will wear ours. Out of courtesy mainly.
The same with restaurants and anywhere that looks particularly busy.
If you are in a medical setting (pharmacy, GP, hospital) you still have to wear one.

The wine fair is on but is being held in the car park again and you can buy tickets there on the day.

Hope this helps

Many thanks for your prompt response, Toni

That's incredibly helpful and very reassuring too - sounds like we might have something approaching a normal holiday

I presume that it's the same all over the island, not just in the PP/Pollenca area?

This applies everywhere. However individual businesses have the right to request you to wear a mask.

Masks also still have to be worn on public transport.
