My friend is from Pollensa and he explained that it is a Catalan word, in Spanish it is Todos, but said basically in local dialect it means everyone .

This is a new restaurant that bravely opened during the pandemic. Daniel and his business partner, who is also the chef have created a fabulous addition to the many great eateries in PP.

They are just on the edge of the square in the premises previously used by Casa Manalo but with additional outside seating by the church. It’s early days for this restaurant but they have big plans for the future in terms of ambiance and decor and i for one can’t wait to see how this place progresses.

The small menu is imaginative and varied resulting in beautifully presented flavoursome food that is a high end twist on some old favorites. Their passion for good food, served well is evident.

I can personally recommend the croquettes, cod tako, beef tenderloin and their paella which was just how I like it with a great authentic crunch. The deserts are reconstructed traditional items like cheesecake and banoffee and are the best I have tasted for a long time

Don’t just take my word for it, go and try them , they deserve to succeed

Called in there when we were over in August. It was on a Wednesday, Market Day, around noon. The guy was working his socks off trying to get all his tables and chairs set up beside the church, but still made time to stop and serve me a lovely pint. Joined by my wife then, and despite there still only being the 2 of us, he stopped again and replenished our glasses. Hope he does well, he deserves it.

We tried Tothom Bar on a recent visit to Puerto Pollensa.

The food was really lovely and beautifully presented. There was a genuinely friendly welcome too from the person who served us.

A little plus was that there was some great live music from Maria Antonia and Xavi Clota on the evening we went there in August - and a different singer last week on Thursday evening.

A few bars & restaurants have tables and chairs on the courtyard to the left of the church, so check which section you choose to sit in first, if you fancy trying the culinary delights at Bar Tothom.

And, hopefully, without this sounding a bit twee, it might be a good idea for Bar Tothom to put some twinkling lights in the parasols over their area of tables so it's clearer which ones are theirs.

Tothom have changed their name!

When the restaurant reopens, it will be called Dos Kanallas. Which if my Google translation is correct, means Two Scoundrels!

Not sure when they are opening yet but they are planning on being bigger and better than before. This is exciting because we loved our visits last year 👍

We tried this place for the first time last night, had duck and mushroom paella and it was fantastic. They serve some very different dishes which we look forward to trying, the decor is really nice and the service was perfect .
