Aww thank you 😀 We had a fabulous time.
Glad you enjoyed reading it and I'm extremely happy that it put your mind at rest Charlotte.

We did do a lot so the first few days of isolation have been spent resting 😴 - inbetween holiday laundry washing!

Have a great weekend everyone x

Thank you so much for posting this report - it is exactly what I've been hoping to find with regard to the current situation! We've been visiting PP each year, for the past 20 years, and were due to visit in May and July and both trips were cancelled. We always stay at the Miramar and they've been in our thoughts daily, as we wonder how they are all managing. Your report fills me with hope that we may yet get there this year to help support the local businesses. Thank you!

Written a couple of things in members section regarding restaurants, all were in excellent form, just to add:
Brisa Marina - Tumbet to start (unbelievable - big enough to share...I didn't) and chicken with peppercorn sauce...lovely.
El Bistro - haven't ate there for donkey's (for no particular reason) but saw a menu del noches....breast of duck salad to start/entrecote as main (big and perfectly cooked)/postre...quality was superb - all for 23euro. Silly. The owner is a cracking lad too.
Portifino - went early on first night and was very quiet and we weren't that hungry...sp/o only ordered a main. I chose Shoulder of Lamb...could do with having a little less salt, but the meat melted in my mouth and it was huge.
Imperial: haven't been in under the new owner, only went in at dinner time (lunch for you southerners ) ended up having a spag bol (only 8.59euro) beautiful...and with their lovely views too.
went to couple of others mentioned in members section...yes the Port was much quieter, but the owners/managers/staff were all as positive as can be expected in the present circumstances. God bless them.
ps. just realised I haven't put what the missus ate....but she loved all hers, big call out for her frito mallorcan in can Ferrer.

Default September Trip

We have recently returned from Puerto Pollensa, and while it was such a shame to see how quiet the port was with many shops, restaurants and bars closed we had a wonderful time. Our experience was that we felt perfectly safe at all times with the locals delighted to see us.

We enjoyed excellent dining at Marcs, El Posito, Centric, Los Faroles, Cellar la Para, No 31 and Sama. The quality of cooking and service was of the usual high standard we have come to expect. We also enjoyed drinks and great hospitality at Les Monges and Gemini’s. It was also good to catch up with Lyn and Colin who both were well and in good form.
Suffice to say if you are able to visit this paradise known as Puerto Pollensa this year then please do. The local restaurants, bars and shops need as much support as possible. We can but hope that they all survive these difficult times and we can all enjoy meeting “old friends “ next year.

We are now in quarantine and all we can say is that it is worth it.
