Default Review - La Llonja cantina

Sometimes everything gets too much.

It’s too hot even in the shade, the town square is too busy, the sand on the beach burns your feet, restaurants along the front are too noisy, you just want to chill.........

At times like that there’s nowhere better in the world than the cantina at La Llonja. Overlooking the quiet part of the harbour, in the shade with a cool breeze wafting through from the main part of La Llonja it’s a haven of tranquility.

It’s the same chefs as the main restaurant so the food is always going to be stunning and the service matches the quality of the food, but the menu is less complicated and perfect for an informal lunch when you’re having a few drinks and watching the world go by.

You might have guessed that we love La Llonja, as I write this having got home yesterday and now sitting in the park with the kids there’s nowhere in the world I’d rather be......

The Cantina is lovely in the Winter when the sun is low as its a real sun trap and is usually sheltered from the wind which tends to come from behind.
