Glad you enjoyed it Tommo. I should remind you that El Posito is only open for lunch this week but will be open evenings from Sunday 14th .

For a bit more up market try Na Ruixa. I really like it but haven't been for a couple of years. Good quality Mallorcan and Mediterranean food.

Just in from a lovely first evening of the season in El Posito. Starters of prawns and baby squids followed by, in my opinion, the best suckling pig in the Port .

Default Four lovely days.

Just back from an enjoyable four days in the port, three of the days were beautiful. We ate at Celler la Parra nice no complaints, Corib Mari again no complaints and had a lovely table at the window, also had a great night in the old town and ate at the Calvari restaurant at the very bottom of the steps, food was good and the people watching even better. Saved the best till last Can Josep , we last saw him as a young waiter in the Joker bar and has now got a great business surrounded by family members, we like everyone got a very warm welcome and after a lovely meal we phoned a taxi and went and stood outside only for Josep to take the time to come out and have a good blether with us and tell us about his visit to Scotland. Absolutely top class customer service. Also had a nice lunch sitting in the sun at the Illa a dor.
