Default Amazo restaurant

Hello Members,
We drove past Amazo (the old Tribeca) it looks very smart inside so wondered
has anyone had a meal there as might give it a go.
Always looking for new places as everytime we come to PP we go to the same places that we know will be good food, value with a pleasent atmosphere.
Hope I am not going to be the guinea pig ha ha ha.........

You're our man on the ground, Tom, so take control and check it out.
Lets hope you're not floating in a most peculiar way afterwards!

Cheers Pers.

I hope you have run it passed Madam " S ". She is the chief gastronomic detective elect for new places.
You wouldn't want to upset her

We went there last night. Very nicely styled and the menu has many original dishes. We had the salmon, steak and chicken ones. Novel creme brule. Very good service and pleasant island wines. Well worth a visit as some of the restaurants are getting predictable.

My only improvement would be to have some greens with the dishes.

The town does seem oddly quiet. It cannot just be the rentals issue, can it?

We also had a very enjoyable meal here last week. The food was fantastic and the service friendly and efficient. The restaurant decor is lovely and it was very pleasant sat inside with the windows open.
We thought the bill was very reasonable given the quality of the food.
There were only another couple of tables taken that evening so I do hope people will give this place a try I am sure you won't be disappointed!!

We had the 18 euro menu of the day last night and it was one of the best meals I have had in the port in over 20 years of visits. The food and flavours are really imaginative - combinations that you think won't work do. Service is friendly and efficient and although we dined inside - the air con was perfect for a hot evening.

By 9.30pm every table was full and they had to turn people away - so seems to be gathering fans after a slow start.
