Default Restaurant Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good restaurant in the main square for adults and a teenager (quite fussy!) please?

Casa Vila never disappoints and there is also Osteria - both medium to high end. Enjoy!

Of those three I'd pick Osteria every time. Centric overbook and then the service declines. Suffered poor service there twice.....won't be doing it again.

Personally, with a teenager in tow - and which teenager isn't fussy?! - I'd go for Casa Vila, who do fab pizza and pasta, and which teenager doesn't like pizza?!!

Centric for me.
Give the teen a ten euro note and point him / her in the direction of a kebab house and go and enjoy some lovely food in Centric.

Default Nicos

OMG now I feel old. I remember when Nico's premises were Cervezeria Bristol.

I agree with Disorderly's comment about overbooking at Centric. It is a pity because the food is good. I suppose the need to earn a year's income in 6 months is an irresistible temptation to cram people in.

Any of the three mentioned - casa vila, Centric or Osteria would get my recommendation and PLEASE why do people insist that teenagers need to go to the kebab house or just choose pizza or pasta ..... none of the teens in our family have limited themselves to such .... we never expected them to eat anything different to ourselves and they never did
pollensa, debz1, sws97sdg and 4 others like this.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with Centric....food ok, but the service is either slightly incompetent, slow(and I normally love slow), or stupidly condescending, i.e. treating a group of slightly older ladies, who are smart ,intelligent and fun, as if they were senile old dodderers..... I object to being called sweetheart and darling by a very young waitress! Rant done. Just as well we all have different tastes!

At my time of life I would love to be called sweetheart or darling even though I am male and would pay many pounds. Enjoy it while you can it's later than you think.
