Default Sol y Mar?

We are on our annual visit and decided to eat at Sol y Mar this evening. We were surprised to se the eating area in almost darkness and only the bar lit up and a few cstomers in. We expected to be lucky to get a vacant table. Sadly we decided to not go in in case there is a problem with the restaurant side of the business. Does anyone know what's going on there or did we pick a bad night. We intended going Sunday lunchtime to listen to the saxophonist but its a half hour walk which in this heat is hard work if the restaurant isn't open! I hope someone can find out what is going on before we leave..

I had to smile at your post. The answer is an easy one. It was closed. Leo has never opened on a Saturday, but still turns up with his family.
One of the great mysteries of life

It was the same in the El Ancla.
Also, Cacho the saxophonist does not play there any more.

Oops, Hold the front page. Just looked at your posting date which would have been Friday. That's the price you pay for getting old.

In which case it was obviously a quite night.
