Default New restaurant- Terrae

Will post a full report and photos on return but just wanted to say we have had the best meal in a long time at the new restaurant called Terrae where la Celtica was, they do a 7 course taster menu, one veggie and one with organic local lamb and mackerel, the veggie one had wonderful dishes with amazing flavours and textures and the new local organic wine from Pollensa called Can Axartell, very friendly knowledgable staff who explained what everything was as we went along, so give it a try, especially all you veggies, you won't be disappointed

Looking forward to the full report - I'd thought about mentioning it to you as we had noticed they were doing a veggie tasting menu but as it had only just opened when we were there and we didn't have time to visit we weren't sure if it was any good. Will probably give it a try later in the year .... somebody will need to try the lamb !

Where exactly is the Terrae? My wife is a veggie and I love lamb. Sounds like our kind of place.
Tony.

Terrae - From the roundabout in PP, with your back to the marina walk along Avendia de Joan XIII. Take the small alley to your left and then turn right into the Carrer de la Virgen del Carmen. Terrae is just along this pedestrianised street, on the left.

Restaurant directions can be found here :- http://www.forum.puertopollensa.com/...irections.html

Pretty sure it was open when I was out a couple of weeks ago.

You had me worried there as this is definitely on our list for a return visit this year - I checked their FB page and couldn't see any recent activity apart from a change to their business hours earlier this month and I noticed it's oddly marked as a place for Yoga
However, there are a couple of recent google reviews of the restaurant and one on TA - so I'm working on the assumption it's still a restaurant and is open
