mwc - still got cheeky September and October trips to try and taste the fantastic food and diversity of choice that PP has to offer.
Don't worry looking forward to naming our top 5 in due course.
Also hoping local and national governments eventually see sense and preserve this marvellous island and resort for the benefit of all in the future

Here’s my votes for 2017, plus a few comments.
1 Restaurant Stay (continues to excel in many ways).
2 I’m not voting for a no 2 as Resto Stay is so far ahead of the competition.
3 Hotel Miramar outside terrace (for their snack lunches in a super setting)
4 Iru (for its good food & pleasant ambiance)
5 Ca’n Panxo (new find for us this year)
We really did miss Tango; but we were delighted by a chance meeting with Manolo where we wished him all the best for his well-earned retirement.
Argos ? I voted for it in 2016; and that was before the Michelin accolade. This year they’ve reverted to the 2015 arrangement of tasting-menu-only and scrapped the a la carte. We don’t want tasting menus, we want a la carte as they had in 2016. So - they’ve lost our custom completely :-(

Based on 4 trips this over the course of the year, list as follows:
1. Stay (predictable but always high quality on every visit)
2. La Vall
3. Hotel Llenaire
4. Ambrosia
5. Tolos
Top place we ate though was our own BBQ which should be #1.

After 2 visits and a debate these are our choices
1) Stay -Has it all Service good food great value and beautiful situation
2) Osteria Always good and if we have been indesisive and havent booked will always fit you in
3) SailnSurf Bistro When we want something informal and their Lasagne is great !
4) Zarzales If this had service to match the food it would be no 2 but see so many people walk out as cant get even a drink Shame as their Seafood Paella and Suckling Pig are excellent
5) Hostal Borras Might be its first appearance ! We went there because of the music( Hustlers and Fat Cats) but ate as well My husband loves their salad with Grilled watermelon ,Goats Cheese , with Honey and sugar on and I love their Chicken Caesar salad . Aloli is excellent Good wine as well and Javi looked after us so well he went out to get us some icecream to go with our pudding !
Had no bad meals Brisa Marina Can Farrar and Tiberi as good as ever Will get more organised next year as would like to go back to Cellar Le Parra but that takes planning !
