Default Rangers1 Restaurant report

Although I have been on here for a number of years I have never put a trip report on here all the meals are evening meals as we just do sandwiches etc at lunch so here goes!!

Day 1 Eat Tapa Y Punto found the service good but the food was ok some lacked taste but overall We would class it as average.

Day2 Tango's a firm favourite for us for many a year but we have never had the set menu so we gave that a go. Starters 2x corn & 1 melon, mains of Steak, Pork & Fish we all had sweets and for 18euros each what value and we all felt nice food.

Day 3 A first for us Little Italy having booked a table (I'm not a massive fan of pizza) we were served well and the pizza's were 1st class .

Day 4 Another first Ambrosia no tables outside so we went upstairs which was good as the air con was on. Just mains of Cod with seafood sauce, Fish & Chips & Entrecote steak all in all nice food.

Day 5 Yet another first Centric and we all loved this place mains of Lamb, Argentian Steak & Chicken Kebab in curry sauce this was great and superb service really good food.

Day 6 El Casinet Mains were Aubergine Lasagne & Chicken/Chorizo paella. Lasagne was ok but the paella was a little lacking in taste.

Day 7 Na Ruixa not been here before and the food was nice with 2 of us having chicken in pepper sauce and one of us leg of lamb all with veg and nice food.

Day8 Son had his mate over so a date night for me & Mrs Rangers and where else to go but Stay. I had Duck breast and Mrs R had Slices of leg of lamb both had sweets and what great food.

Day 9 We wanted another try at Tapas so booked at table the Tapas Tree and we not disappointed 8 different dishes. Meatballs were great, The chicken with a hint of lime..lovely all in all great food and worth a visit.

Day 10 Hostel Bahia table all booked and on the beach side which for us was as good as it got. the food was very bland and the pepper sauce on the chicken had no taste at all. Our worst meal of the 11 days.

Day 11 Had to be a return visit to Centric and we are so boring we had the same three meals as on day 5 and yet again top class.

So there we go it was 3 years since we have been to PP and there are a lot of changes some good some not so good but that's the world we live in. We also found prices really good although we don't have wine and most of time no starters other than bread we didn't pay over 75 euros and that was with water and 6 drinks.Even though there was only 3 of us we found that you do need to book a couple of days in advance. We will be back and we hope it wont be so long.
