Default La Celtika 2016.

Last night we were invited to La Celtika for a pre-opening dinner. This was a 5 course tasting menu accompanied by a selection of Mallorcan wines (Bicicleta), it was all fish/seafood (except the desert which was mango and home made mango ice cream) all was beautifully cooked and presented by owner/chef Yann who explained what was in every dish. We sat with Yann's very charming aunt and uncle who are French but thankfully they spoke quite good English.

Yann told us that this year he plans to serve only fish and seafood and the best locally sourced ingredients so this will not be a restaurant for carnivores.

On our experience of last night i would not hesitate to recommend La Celtika which will open for the season this Saturday .

Sounds great! - am personally glad to hear about the fish/seafood menu as the presence of certain meats that my husband objects to if not cooked by himself (and foie gras for both of us) had stopped us booking in the past. I think also tasting menus are so filling that fish is a better option all round.
