Default Trip Report Sant Antoni 2016 Part One

We flew out from Birmingham on the 13th January with Ryanair ( our first experience with this airline ) The flight was completely full, which is obviously great news for the winter holiday promoters.
We landed about 20 minutes early so no complaints there.Jose of Conde Taxis was waiting for us and whisked us off to PP in less than 40 minutes. We quickly unpacked at the apartment, visited the supermarket for essential supplies and set off for a stroll along the Pine Walk.
We had not planned where to eat on this first night so we just had a wander around the town to see what was open.In the end we chose Hibiscus. We both had the MDD which i think was about 16 or 17 Euro. The food was OK and the atmosphere and service were good but i dont think it will make my top 5 this year.
Day 2 For our evening meal on this our second day we chose Hells Kitchen, our first ever visit and i must say that we were both very impressed. We both opted for the MDD priced at 17.50 Euro.Homemade Pate for two to start and calves liver and gammon for mains. Apple crumble and ice cream for dessert. All dishes cooked to perfection and served cheerily by the Scottish waiter.Hells Kitchen has an eclectic menu which is a fusion of oriental dishes and good old English standards.
Day 3 dawned dank and dismal with some rain so we decided to get the bus to Pollensa. We had a walk around the town,it was very quiet with only a few shops open.We had a cup of tea at Cafe Espanyol which was quite full inside, probably because of the weather and caught the next bus back to PP.
We chose to eat at Hells Kitchen again tonight, one, because it was so good last night and two because it would not be open for the rest of our stay.Again we had the MDD and again everything was excellent but whilst we were eating the rain became torrential and did not abate for about 90 minutes. We left just as it stopped and by then the restaurant was completely full, a testimony to the quality of the food
favie, Sparky, scotslizzy and 3 others like this.
