Our friends have booked us in here for when we're over in April, after discovering it last summer. I simply cannot wait after reading this thread, and checking out TA....I'm literally drooling.
How reasonable is the wine? Because it usually ends up flowing quite freely on taster menu evenings.

We've now been to this restaurant a couple of times & all is as described! Last time it was 27 EUR a head including cava & dessert wine & an excellent meal but we have had to drive & made good use of the Sat Nav each time.

So we wondered how much a taxi would be from PP to Sa Pobla & then back again later that night - service is quite drawn out & although there are different start times, diners all appear to finish at a similar time - pretty late!

Any ideas on taxi rates?

Thank you. That's around what I thought. May be worth it!

Went last night for my 60th Birthday. Sadly a slight disappointment.

The welcome from Cris was just as wonderful as ever, the ambience was sublime and it was - as always - full. But the food was just a little bland and lacking seasoning. In the past every single course has been a surprise and a delight. However, sadly last night, apart from the desserts, which were simply remarkable, the meal was just 'good' rather than 'omigod'. Cook's night off????

Anyone been to Mare Nostrum recently? I’d love to hear feedback on what it’s like now and costs

They have decided to only open at lunchtimes now. I think it is still Thursday to Sunday. We didn't go this time as struggle with big meals when it is so hot. Such a pity as was a wonderful evening experience and beautiful food. Might try it in the winter.
